I'm Megan Turner LaGrow - a graphic designer based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
a little bit
about me
I’m originally from Rochester, New York, and although I’ve always had an interest in design, I found my way to Cincinnati in ‘09 through my other love - volleyball. I was recruited and awarded a full scholarship to play for the Cincinnati Bearcats while attending UC’s prestigious design school, DAAP.
I was lucky enough to experience the best of both worlds -
a competitive athletic conference and a renowned creative school with a co-op program to help gain hands-on experience in the field. I learned countless time-management, leadership, communication and teamwork skills along the way and I graduated from UC in 2015 as a Graphic Communication Design major with a concentration in print-based design.
I’ve always lived by the motto 'the more versatile you are, the more valuable you are.'
As a volleyball player, this meant being able to play multiple positions. Off the court, it has meant working in different fields and trying to contribute on multiple fronts for the companies I've been a part of. I am currently seeking employment and I am excited to continue expanding my skillset.
